Do you wonder how the classical botanical artists achieved beautiful realistic fruits and vegetables paintings? Come to the Botanical Garden and participate in this all-levels watercolor class to learn these very techniques. You will learn new skills that will make your paintings look accurate and represent your subject. You will benefit from useful demonstrations that will support your drawing and your progression in controlling the watercolor. You will have real life material to choose from by participating in this class set in a beautiful garden setting.

To help your brush keep flowing after the workshop, Lisa will bring some of her favorite botanical books, shares handouts, and a resource list.

About the Instructor: Lisa Coddington has been teaching art for over 18 years. She received two educational grants from the American Society of Botanical artists. The first grant supported attending a Master Botanical Class at Cornell University, and the second grant supported her teaching a botanical art workshop in Grenada, West Indies.
