Are you trying to figure out if those tracks you saw are bobcat, coyote or bear? Come to this class to learn the basics about animal tracking and sign identification. We will go out on the land to study gaits, how different animals move, and the patterns they leave for us to read. We will also practice sensory awareness exercises, different ways to see, and how to think like an animal. This is a beginning class, but people with experience are welcome; there will be something to learn for everyone.

About your Guide: Ann Hunkins has been studying tracking for over a decade with Casey McFarland and through the Kamana program. She is a Level 3 certified tracker with Cybertracker, and is currently working on her specialist certification. She has taught nature awareness and tracking to children through Arts of Nature and teaches tracking with the Master Naturalist Program. Ann studies bird language, awareness, and general survival skills.
