This talk will cover how to evaluate areas for a variety of pollinator species and improve restoration projects. Audience members will learn about healthy, historical ecosystems and natural processes that created habitats. Those processes will then be presented as they exist today and the many ways we can rebuild healthy, robust habitats with native plants and critical resources for target species.

Dr. Shaun McCoshum has more than 20 years of experience working in conservation, restoring habitats, and managing areas for wildlife. He has worked across the United States, including the arid southwest, doing a variety of research and restoration projects. He brings his vast experience and broad knowledge base to large- and small-scale conservation projects, including wildlife gardens.
