Sam McCarthy will talk about the "why" and "how" of simple but environmentally effective backyard composting using redworms. 

Sam McCarthy has a background in organic farming and gardening going back 30 years. Since moving to Santa Fe in 1997 he has been using Redworms in outdoor bins to efficiently compost in the arid climate. Sam has been educating the public about the use of worms at his booth located at the SF Farmers Market since 2000.
