Because bears look and behave a lot like people, many Indigenous communities throughout North America have long viewed them as relatives, healers, teachers, and guides. Join Garden Educator Theresa Ferraro to discover the fascinating connections between bears, people, and the natural world. Learn how different Indigenous cultures understand bears, discover ways we can all safely live alongside bears, and explore some of the plants bears eat that have been valued by people for their medicinal properties. Come learn, listen, and discover what bears can teach us!
