From Garden to Medicine Cabinet: How to Make your own Tinctures

Come to the Botanical Garden for this fun hands-on medicine making class to learn how to make your own tinctures. You will learn methods for making tinctures with both fresh and dried plants. We will talk about when it is most appropriate to use alcohol extracts, and go over a list of helpful supplies to have on hand.

About your Instructor: Emily Rose is an herbalist and acupressurist living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She created Roots & Roses in order to bring together three of her herbal passions: clinical herbalism, medicine making, and education. She is passionate about sharing the magic of plants and self-care techniques with clients and students. She has been an instructor at Milagro School of Herbal Medicine since 2014.
