Come drink and learn all about tea in this garden to mug class. We will discuss where tea is gown, how it is cultivated and processed, and the many different kinds of tea (black, green, oolong, white, etc.) You will taste samples of different types of prepared tea in this educational class.
About the Instructor: Karen has been in the tea business for more than 18 years. She founded ArtfulTea when she moved to Santa Fe in 2007, so she is now celebrating her 12th anniversary. ArtfulTea offers more than 80 kinds of loose leaf tea, many of which Karen personally blends. While Karen is mostly self taught when it comes to tea, she has also taken classes and workshops at the World Tea Expo, where she goes annually to taste and source teas. Karen is passionate about quality tea and enjoys searching for and sampling tea from all over the world. What delights her most is introducing others to the many pleasures of great tea.
