Come to this fun, interactive workshop that will give you an in-depth look at the function of fruit trees, their most important cells and tissues, and how this applies to the art of grafting.  Grafting has been used for centuries to transfer different types of fruit trees around the planet. We will learn the history of grafting, the different types of tissues involved and then apply our knowledge to several apple seedlings. Each participant will go home with a sapling that has a graft of a different type of apple than the parent.
