About the Lecturer- Born and raised in New Mexico, Ashley M. Biggers is an award-winning travel journalist who has contributed to many publications, including CNN, USA Today, Fodor's Travel, and Alaska Airways’ Beyond, among many others. She serves as editor of GuestLife New Mexico, and she is the author of Eco-Travel New Mexico. Eco-Travel New Mexico earned a bronze from the 2018 Society of American Travel Writers Lowell Thomas Foundation Travel Journalism Awards and was named the best travel book in 2018 by the New Mexico/Arizona Book Awards. She lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
