Join this experimental hands on workshop in order to learn how to make your very own sculptures for your garden. You will learn how to document, design, and fabricate larger than life fantasy figures using Chamisa and other native shrubs. In this workshop, you will receive a crash course in 2D and 3D design and safety lessons to ensure your safety for future sculptures. You will be completely immersed into constructing, crafting, and installing completed sculptures in this in-depth experiential class.

About your Instructor: Stryder Simms has spent the past decades designing original creations in metal, timber, earth, shrubs, lathe, canvas, ice, foodstuffs, cardboard, blue jeans, glass, human hair, silk, the English language, fonts, woodblock prints, and dryer lint. Native plants happen to be his current favorite, and he is excited about sharing this love of sculpture with the community at the Botanical Garden.
