Native plants can offer gorgeous structure and beautiful flowers. They can be easy to plant and care for with low water needs, few soil requirements, fit in almost any space or location, attract birds and wildlife, as well as add a beautiful accent to existing landscaping or artwork.

Join this class at the Leonora Curtin Wetland Preserve as we identify native plants and look at how to use them in our own individual plantings and landscape. Leave with a native plant ‘start’ to add to your garden!

About your Instructor: Jeff DePew is a certified Professional Wetland Scientist and holds a certification in Restoration Ecology. He is a Professor Emeritus in Biological and Ecological Studies from Webster University.
