Mothing Two-day Workshop

Date: Friday September 27th and Saturday September 28th 

Time: Friday 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM 

Location: Garden Pavilion 715 Camino Lejo 

Cost: Youth (ages 7-17) - $7/Members - $24/Non-members - $30 (price is for entire workshop)

Join insect enthusiast and Director of Education and Interpretation, Christie Collins, for this two-day workshop to learn how to make your own live trap for nighttime mothing. The first night will be spent learning about some of the local moth species, setting up lights to attract moths to the live trap. The next morning will be spent checking the traps and identifying the species.
