Description: This in-depth course provides a combination of classroom and field experiences that will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to better understand and care for their local environment.

Each week we will explore an important environmental topic as it relates to our region. Topics range from plants and wildlife to land ethics and science communication. The course will be taught by various representatives of our sponsor organizations. These organizations include the Santa Fe Botanical Garden, Randall Davey Audubon Center, Santa Fe County Open Space, Northern New Mexico College, and more!
After completing the course work, you will be prepared to volunteer with the sponsoring organizations. Master Naturalists are required to donate 30 hours in the following year to successfully complete the program.
 

Dates: Tuesdays, 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm & some Saturday mornings, August 13 - October 29 2019.

Location: Classes will be at various locations in the Santa Fe and Española area.
 
Cost: $125 member of the Santa Fe Botanical Garden/$150 non-member
