This  workshop is both for beginners and people who seek inspiration to start or continue with a book, memoir, or project.  After a brief introduction by Pat and Elaine, participants will engage in guided writing sessions, after which they will be invited to share with others. Sharing is voluntary! The aim is to help students discover what they want to say and to launch their writing projects. Each student will create a personal blueprint for writing success.

About our Instructors, Pat Goehe: A Santa Fe resident for twenty years, Pat Goehe is a twice retired college professor. In addition to teaching, she has at times been an actress, director, motivational speaker, and counselor. Always a writer at heart, she currently has several projects in process. But, it was her role as “grandma” which inspired the Annemarie Book Series.

About our Instructors, Elaine Pinkerton Coleman: A resident of Santa Fe since 1967, Elaine Pinkerton Coleman has been a writer all her life. This combination resulted in the first edition of her bestselling guidebook Santa Fe on Foot in 1986. The newest of several editions is due out this fall. A freelance writer for decades, she is the author of six books, including The Goodbye Baby-Adoptee Diaries and From Calcutta with Love-The WWII Letters of Richard and Reva Beard.

Please bring your preferred writing medium, either a pencil and paper, ipad, laptop computer etc.
