Would you like to create a habitat for the beautiful blue birds that make their homes in Santa Fe? In this class, we will make blue bird houses that have a unique Santa Fe style and will attract the three species of blue birds that come through the Santa Fe area - Western, Mountain and Eastern Blue Birds. We will make nesting boxes that you can put in your yard or property. We will also take a short walk to view ideal placement locations that will insure nest box occupation. A short presentation of the range, habitat, native plants and conditions that blue birds need will be included as well as the opportunity to become involved in a Citizen Science project- Nestwatch.
